Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Event
There was a great turnout to officially inaugurate and celebrate the opening of our new office in White Bear Lake. We cut the ceremonial ribbon to mark the official opening of Catch22 Marketing’s office space on June 16th, 2015, courtesy of White Bear Lake Chamber of Commerce. Joining Chamber Director Tom Snell were some existing clients and a number of Chamber board members including Ramsey County Commissioner Victoria Reinhardt and Mayor Jo Emerson, of White Bear Lake.
A Little History
Catch22 Marketing got its name from the common “catch-22” in running a business where in order to generate sales, you need marketing. But to pay for a website and marketing, you need to have sales. From its beginnings in London, England, Cameron brought Catch22 across the pond and set up shop in White Bear Lake, MN.
In October 2014, Marshall joined Catch22 Marketing, and the business became a partnership in an office on Banning Avenue. The business took off, and based on new projects on the horizon, Catch22 Marketing hired an expert web developer, Dominic, to take the company to the next level. This precipitated a move to a larger office space across the street in the White Bear Professional Building.
What Goes on at Catch22 Marketing?
When we got together to form Catch22, we realized that the big companies were getting bigger because they were doing things and using tools that the little guys weren’t. We both believed there was a huge opportunity to help small to medium sized organizations add tremendous value to their business by at least thinking like the big guys and investing in getting their website right. We knew the foundation of any legitimate business needs to be supported by a good website. We knew we could provide that very well – to us that meant websites that were well thought out, custom-made for the ideal customer, mobile-friendly, secure and very fast to load. So Catch22, the partnership and vision, was born.
The most exciting thing for us this year has been partnering with world’s leading integrated marketing platform, HubSpot, to offer clients a one-stop shop for all their inbound marketing. This has gone a huge way to level the playing field by offering enterprise level tools and techniques (historically out of the reach of smaller businesses) to automate, analyze and promote their business online. (You can find out more how we do that in our free eBook below).
