Baker Apartments have built a successful apartment rental business over 30 years old, and were looking to totally redesign their online presence. They needed a website that appealed to both students and families looking for rental apartments in Winona, Minnesota, and was easy to maintain on a day-to-day basis.

Result and Response of Redesign

We built Baker Apartments a powerful and easy-to-use apartment rental website. Thanks (mainly) to WordPress, it is easy for the client to manage and edit their apartments, and for users to find what they are looking for. We spent time planning and organizing the features so users can easily browse, filter and inquire about relevant property listings. The website is built with specifically mobile users in mind, as renters often want to source info on the move.

The response has been immediate and positive. We don’t have previous figures to compare with, but the new site generated 100 online inquiries in the first 23 days after launch – and this didn’t include phone calls, which are the main call-to-action. Importantly, due to the new ‘clean’ layout and clear property information, the quality of inquiries improved too. This meant less time answering questions about utilities, pets and rental details, and more time arranging property viewings.
