Miss Dress

Web Design Brief

Back in 2008, we took Clare’s style blog and turned it into a brightly-colored brochure website that helped kickstart her new business. Four years later, the web had evolved and so had her business. Miss Dress needed a dynamic-looking website that really showed off her personal styling services, reduced her Frequently Asked Questions, had a feature-rich blog, looked great on an iPad, and allowed easy online payments.

Result and Response of Redesign

We took a couple of wrong turns first, but eventually we created a design that really hit the mark. Supported with a professional photo shoot, a reworked logo and a rewrite of all the services, we built Clare a fantastic responsive website on WordPress that her loyal fan base just loved. To add to all the compliments, the website has some industry-leading usage statistics, including an “Avg Time on Page” of 2 min 42 secs for the homepage! – showing that users “stick” when they arrive. Also, the website has excellent click-through rates to service pages, solid conversion rates on goal pages, and is supported with steady growth figures for her social media channels since the relaunch.

Project Summary

Responsive redesign using WordPress as the CMS. Features include Paypal payments, MailChimp integration, feature-rich design, built-in SEO and social media feeds.
