Wimbledon Language Academy (WLA) had a very basic website that was in desperate need of revamping when they approached us to design a new brand identity and website. Their intention was to communicate how international their school is, how fun the learning atmosphere is, and the benefits of choosing London as a city to learn in over other European options. They also were looking for ideas on how to convert visitors into student sign-ups.
Result and Response of Redesign
In short, the redesign was an incredible success. Inspired by their South American students, we wanted the site to instantly feel warm and welcoming with a sense of fun. From a business perspective, we also wanted to ‘capture’ potential students information to help grow their enrollments, so we created a 5 Minute Online English Test that immediately gave students a grade depending on their answers in exchange for their contact details. This, combined with clearly laid-out information, well-written content and clear navigation helped increase conversion rates and has supported their continued business growth for the last 3 years.
